Community Health Clubs
Project Summary
This project is about raising awareness of the dangers of Anti-Microbial Resistance (AMR) and how it can be addressed in the context of a Community Health Club (CHC) in a rural or urban context. One of the 25 training sessions within a standard CHC programme will be devoted to AMR. Key messages will be developed and visual aids designed for a pilot project in Makoni District, Zimbabwe, using existing Community Health Clubs to pre-test the material before replication. Training will be offered to other NGOs in Zimbabwe on AMR. A model poultry project will be started to demonstrate best practice.
