Project Partners

ARK Foundation is a non-government, non-political and not-for-profit organization dedicated to the socio-economic development of Bangladesh. ARK Foundation has worked with the CE4AMR team at the University of Leeds, and Malaria Consortium on a previous pilot of the CDA approach, designed to address AMR in Bangladesh.

HERD INTERNATIONAL is a research agency, promoting evidence informed policies and practices through high-quality research and knowledge management, and thus contributing to improve quality of life of people. HERDi collaborate on a number of CE4AMR projects including a pilot test of the Participatory Video (PV) approach to tackle AMR in Nepal. This approach will now form a substantial area of the COSTAR intervention.

The research arm of Malaria Consortium seeks to develop and test new approaches in a range of locations, transmission settings and health systems to help prevent, care and treat malaria, neglected tropical diseases and childhood illnesses.  Malaria Consortium were part of the pilot CDA project with ARK Foundation and the University of Leeds. Their role in COSTAR will be primarily to drive the research uptake aspect of the project.
